Laura Schantz

I retired at the end of 2023 after 29 years of law practice due to my ovarian cancer diagnosis. Each day is a gift from God, and I’m spending time with family and friends now. I am leaving the law firm in good hands with Chris Fanning taking over the firm. We have an amazing team of support staff and attorneys who will continue my legacy of providing caring, compassionate service while working hard to advocate and succeed in guiding our clients through their legal process. We have had many victories, not just in the legal sense, but also in the great changes for the better that our clients have made.

I am so grateful for my career and for all of my clients. My clients have brought meaning and joy to my work and life. I will never forget them and the privilege it has been to walk beside them through difficult times. I have seen tremendous growth, pain and suffering, and great rejoicing. Many of my clients have stayed in touch over the years and many have become my friends. Our law firm is very special. I know that our clients are receiving extraordinary care.

I am fully confident that our law firm will continue to practice our Mission statement, “Protecting our clients and empowering them to improve their lives with a firm that values compassion, honesty, and a work life balance.”
